We will accept photos which show yourself plus another adult person (friend, spouse, family member, etc.) and/or your children. We ask that you do not provide photos of your children alone without you or an adult present in the photograph. This is for your child's protection. We will accept photos of you and your pets together, please do not show images of pets alone. We will accept graphic containing a logo and artwork, provided that you are the copyright owner. Photographs may not contain images of children alone, animals, pets, cartoons, comics, celebrities, nudity, obscene or otherwise inappropriate images. ConnectingMoms reserve the right to remove your photo if you violate our Terms of Service. | | | Navigating the Site | | | What is a MomConnection? | | | A MomConnection is the name we use at ConnectingMoms to designate the moms in your network of friends. | | | How do I request/ accpet a MomConnection? | | | To request a MomConnection, go to the profile of the desired mom and click on the "Add Mom" button on the left hand side of her profile. She will be notified via email about her pending mom request. If you wish to accpet someone's MomConnection, go to your My Mail section and there should be a message in your inbox of the mother who requested to be your friend. You can also accept a MomConnection request. | | | How do I upload a new profile picture? | | | To upload a new profile picture, go to your profile home and click on the link that says "Edit My Photo" which is under the picture box. Once you click on the link, you can browse through the files on your comupter, select the desired file, and upload your picture. We support format for picture files is JPEG (.jpg) with a maximum file size of 1.5 mb. Please note: your member profile photo is set to 150x150 pixels (height and width). All other member photos are displayed in a 65x65 size throughout the site. You photo will look great if you crop within these settings. | | | How do I send a message to another mom? | | | To send a message to another mom, simply go to her profile and select the "Send a Message" link which appears to the left of the member's picture. From here you can write your message and submit it. All messages will be sent to the member's mail inbox. | | | How do I upload an album or picture into my gallery? | | | To upload an album or picture into your gallery, go to your profile home and click on the link that says "My Gallery" which appears on the toolbar on the right hand side of the page. Once you click on the icon, click on the link "Create New Album" located on the right hand side. You then will be asked to create a title and date for your album. After clicking, "Create Album" at the bottom of the page, the next step is to upload individual pictures by clicking on "Add New Photos." You can browse through the files on your computer, select the desired file, and upload your picture and put a caption on it.
